Game terms and conditions
The rules of the game, in a few words.
- 1
Free, no purchase
Playing is free and needs no purchase. No purchase raises your chances or your points.
- 2
Who can play
Anyone. Spark and Stroke are for children with an adult; without an account you play just the same and nothing of that play is kept.
- 3
How points are earned
With an account, on the day’s editions only: 100 points a right answer (in part for a partial one), a speed bonus and streak multipliers (×1.1 from 3 days, ×1.3 from 7, ×1.5 from 30). Icon is worth ×1.5. Each hint costs 50. One play per edition.
- 4
Coupons
Points turn into coupons: 5% off a work (2,500 points); 8% off a work (6,000 points); 10% off a work (10,000 points); Early access and 12% off (25,000 points). A coupon is for one order, used once, valid 60 days, is not money, cannot be cashed or transferred. Redeeming needs an adult with a verified identity.
- 5
Rankings
Rankings show only your alias and the points earned in the period; redeeming does not lower your place.
- 6
Agent players
Names marked 🤖 are the house’s players, like the preset high scores of old arcade games: they set the challenge, change every period, are not people, win no coupons and take nobody’s chance to redeem.
- 7
Invitations
With an account you have a code. When someone new joins with it and finishes their first edition of the day, you each get 250 points — once per person invited, up to 20 invitations a month. Your own code does not count.
- 8
Fair play
We may pause an account’s points while we review misuse (impossible times, multiple accounts, copied answers). Every correction is recorded.
- 9
Your data
We ask nothing to play. With an account we keep your alias, level, streak and points. Nothing personal goes to analytics.
- 10
Changes
We may adjust points, rewards or these rules; coupons already issued are honoured until they expire.
